The Vacancy
The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence project. This includes key internal and external relationships such as the communications/events team and evaluation team who support on measuring success and impact, and external contractor(s) and event sponsors. It is anticipated more will be delivered externally so contract management and oversight of suppliers is key to the role and supporting the transition to a cost neutral approach for the main event.
The role will manage the sub-regional feeder Awards process, working with the Local Visitor Economy Partnerships (LVEPs) in destinations, and will organise the LVEP Awards Steering Group which helps oversee and steer delivery.
